 Neuspeed Suspension Introduction

Here's my box of Neuspeed Sport springs. Why is it that all car part boxes are so banged up?

I got these from Auto Image Enhancement which had cheap shipping. The box is all beat up, but the springs are just fine.

Here's the springs in the box. They weigh about 7-8 pounds each.

Here's a front and a rear spring. The shorter one goes in front. The coil looks a little beefier for the front and probably isn't allowed to travel up and down as much as the rear.

Here's the boxes that my new shocks came in. I think it's odd that the boxes are red, even though I bought yellow shocks. Also, the box says "Special D" which is not the model I ordered, so I wonder if the place I got it from just got a huge bulk shipment and they had to box them themselves with whatever boxes were around?

My shocks are Neuspeed Edition Koni Sport Shocks, commonly known as Koni Yellows (since they are yellow). Here are the front and a rear shocks together. The rear are in the center and are longer than the front shocks on the outside.

Here's all the parts for the front shocks. Lots and lots of parts...

I heard that the instructions for the shocks are pretty bad, and I would agree. These shocks apparently are sold around the world so they have to use as little English (or whatever language) as possible which really just translates into very poor instructions. I decided to display the instructions here so people can study them.

Here are more instructions. I think I will rewrite them some time to be a little more understandable.

Yet more instructions, including a warning about using the shocks on US specification cars. There is also a puffy sticker decal that came with it, though I have no idea where or why you'd want to put it on your car.

Here are the rear shocks. Again, lots and lots of parts. The rear shocks are longer and appear to hold bigger springs.

Here's are the instructions for the rear.

More instructions.

Even more instructions and an amusing drawing on the back of the decal bag.
