 Bumper Removal

To remove the bumper cover, you must undo 8 pegs and 4 screws (at least the 98-00 bumpers are this way). You may wish to jack up the front of the car or put it on ramps to give you more space.

The first two pegs are located at the top of the grill on either side. These are the types of pegs that you use a flat head screwdriver to pop out the center piece, after which you can remove the whole thing.

Next are the screws on each side holding the ends of the bumper cover in the wheel well.

Then the screws on each side holding the bottom sides of the bumper cover.

Then two pegs on each side at the bottom sides near the front.

And finally two pegs at the bottom near the center. These pegs are slightly different, you can unscrew the center piece to remove them.

With all the pegs and screws out, you'll need to pop out the edges of the bumper cover at the wheel well. Then you can pull off the entire bumper cover.
