 Whiteline Rear Subframe Outrigger Bushing

These are Whiteline Rear Subframe Outrigger Bushings that firm up the connection between the chassis and rear subframe to eliminate some of the slop in the transmission when shifting.

The outriggers are located just in front of the rear wheels. There are three bolts holding a support plate, marked by the arrows. The two side bolts (12 or 14mm) are small, and then there is a large 17mm bolt that connects up through the outriggers.

Remove the large bolt completely.

Loosen the smaller side bolts partially to allow the plate to drop down, only enough to remove the upper outrigger plate (arrow).

Take the thicker 10mm bushing and fit it onto the upper plate, then replace into the outrigger.

The bottom one is bit more tricky as it's a tight fit. Use a 2x4 or a jack to push the outrigger back up so you can fit the smaller bushing between the bottom plate and the outrigger.

Then reattach everything and that's it. Repeat for the other side.

Honestly, I can't tell if it made a difference but it's a pretty cheap upgrade so that's fine.
