I was in Japan this year and realized that I would be in Tokyo during the Tokyo Motor Show. I attended on November 4, 2005.

I tried to take lots of pictures (over 100!) but I knew I had limited time so I only focused on cars that are new, exotic or unavailable in the US. My apologies if I missed your favorite car brand or model.

It was a big show and it took 2 hours to get there and 2 hours to get home, plus I was already pooped from traipsing all over Tokyo all week and running errands earlier that morning. That also meant that I didn't have much time since the show closes at 5pm on weekdays. I also had a friend with me and I didn't want to drag him along to every single car in existence.

A couple notes. Under Nissan you'll find lots of pictures of the GTR since everyone wants more pictures and most magazines/sites only have a few to show. There's also a few vids of the car just rotating on it's platform.

Under Subaru you'll find videos of the 2006 WRC STI rotating on it's platform with WRC footage in the background. Under Toyota you'll find videos of their iSwing personal transportation vehicle in action (I saw an earlier prototype at the NY motor show but while they claimed it worked, they never showed it in action).
